For more information on the work that we have done on this stellar example of 1968 Pontiac Firebird, please see below. We have all receipts and good documentation and visual records of what we have done and for the ease of use we have categorised it. So here is a little example of what has been done on this Pontiac Firebird 1968.

We have performed another amazing transformation “From RUST to SHINE” by restoration on this most beautiful cars of our times.

The parts that we have repaired, replaced with new are the following:

  • NEW RUBBER SEALS on DOORS/TRUNK/FELT WINDOWS
  • RE-BUILT DISC BRAKES FRONT
  • RE-BUILT BRAKE SHOES REAR
  • NEW FRONT SHOCKS
  • NEW FRONT SUSPENSION
  • NEW SHOCKS ALL ROUND
  • DOOR LOCKS CHECKED  RE-INSTALLED
  • NEW TIRES
  • NEW JAGS WHEELS/LUGS
  • NEW TRANS GASKET
  • NEW GAS TANK
  • ALL NEW HOSES
  • NEW BRAKE/GAS PEDALS
  • REFURBISHED DIFFERENTIAL AND NEW DIFFERENTIAL OIL
  • NEW FUEL SENSOR

A complete restoration of the undercarriage has taken place. The chassis was cleaned, grind and the rust inhibitor was applied. Followed by priming and painting.

We have also installed:

  • NEW FRONT END SUBFRAME ASSEMBLY

The car was painted our usual ways of 3 coats of paint and 7 coats of clear coat. House of Kolor (original DARK BLUE METALLIC) paint was used.

On the exterior of the car we have worked on the following:

  • NEW CHROME BUMPERS FRONT/REAR, TRIM, SIDE-VIEW MIRRORS, DOOR HANDLES, WINDOWS, EMBLEMS
  • NEW FRONT FENDERS
  • NEW HOOD/INSERTS

Our pedantic approach to Classic Car Restoration of this Pontiac Firebird 1968 has driven us to perfection and indeed it has been most rewarding. We have replaced almost everything on this car.
