THIS IS HOW WE DID IT
For your consideration, this 1950 Mercury 4-Door Sedan has had one owner the past 40 years, garage kept, restored by the owner, a full-time mechanic and car restoration expert who is 76 years old, working on vehicles of all kinds since he was 15 years old. It features an immaculate dark blue metallic paint, all original chrome in fine condition. The original flathead Ford motor (110hp) was cracked so it was replaced with a Chevy 305 V-8 (145hp). Otherwise it is All Original with the following restoration aspects:
Chevy 305 V8 Engine (145hp) *fully re-built
Dual Exhaust System Re-Done *Lake Exhaust installed but not connected (buyer decision)
Original Overdrive Transmission in excellent working condition
All Original Chrome in Very Fine Condition
Re-done Upholstery/Headliner
Redone vintage 12 volt wiring/electric *all systems/guages/lights work correctly
A/C is not hooked up, but the car comes with a compressor, brackets belts (included) buyer would need to purchase condensor/hoses (approx $800) at buyer’s discretion (not included).
